Everything about Lisa’s Pizzeria is centered on tradition. The iconic Hatteras Island restaurant opened its doors in 1986. Owner Kenny Muglia named the eatery after his wife.
Thirteen years later, it was purchased by Briggs McEwan and Dave Mothershead, who were determined to keep the pizzeria’s reputation as high-flying as it had always been — including its free all-day delivery service.
In addition to eight specialty pizzas and five premium pizzas, the extensive menu includes calzones; lasagna, manicotti; chicken or eggplant Parmesan; spaghetti; chicken Alfredo, burgers, barbecue, subs, and wraps; and a host of appetizers, including crispy hot wings, salads, French fries, beer-battered onion rings, cheddar broccoli bites, fried pickles, chicken strips, and more. Oh, and there’s a children’s menu, too.
