The view from Pamlico Jack's is postcard-worthy.

Pamlico Jack’s Restaurant & Bar is a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. In addition to its view of grassy, salt marshes and the nearby Albemarle Sound — from every table — its menu includes fresh Gulf Stream seafood, certified Angus beef, homemade pasta, burgers and sandwiches, soups and salads — and a host of appetizers and yummy desserts, including cobbler, strawberry cake and key lime pie, among others.

Its large deck is complete with an authentic replica of a pirate ship — a favorite among kids — that also houses the Rum Jumpers Bar, where adults can sip a glass of wine, a cold beer or any one of the many specialty cocktails, perched upon a bar stool like a pirate on shore leave.

There’s plenty of great wines from which to choose: Pamlico Jack’s extensive wine list has been honored with the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for more than 20 years in a row.
