Pet of the Week: Meet Nacho

Nacho is at the Outer Banks SPCA shelter waiting for his forever home.

Meet Nacho, an 8-year-old Chihuahua-mix who is waiting to be adopted.

All of the SPCA’s adoptable fur babies are micro-chipped with free registration prior to adoption. The adoption fee includes up to date vaccinations, the spay or neuter surgery, a free exam with a local vet and more.

To meet him and the other animals waiting to be adopted — and to find out how you can help — stop by the OBX SPCA at 1031 Driftwood Drive, Manteo.

You can also help support the shelter by taking stopping by the OBX Dog Bath station at the Manteo Farmer’s Market from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. The bath is by donation, so you can show your love and support, and get your furry family member in ship-shape and bristol fashion. The market is along the waterfront at George Washington Creef Park.
